Having a website that successfully converts visitors into leads takes a lot of careful planning and effort. Look no further than the following stand-out platforms for building your high converting website.
WordPress
WordPress is the simplest, most popular way to create your own website or blog. In fact, WordPress powers over 29% of all the websites on the Internet. Yes – more than one in four websites that you visit are likely powered by WordPress. This webiste is created in WordPress and is my number 1 go to solution for creating websites.
squarespace
If you’re looking for an easy to use website builder and thinking about Squarespace vs WordPress, Squarespace will be the one for you as it’s very intuitive to use. WordPress does have a steeper learning curve but is a more flexible platform.
When it comes down to price, Squarespace and WordPress work in two different ways. Squarespace offers monthly plans starting from $12 whereas WordPress is technically a free platform. But don’t forget, with WordPress, you’ll have to purchase your own hosting and maybe a theme, which can make the cost of a WordPress site rack up.
SHOPIFY
Shopify is a complete commerce platform that lets you start, grow, and manage an e-commerce business.
Shopify will allow you to create an online store, sell in multiple places, including web, mobile, social media, online marketplaces, brick-and-mortar locations, and pop-up shops.
Shopify is completely cloud-based and hosted, which means you don’t have to worry about upgrading or maintaining software or web servers. This gives you the flexibility to access and run your business from anywhere with an internet connection.
Landing Page Software
A Landing Page is a web page built for one specific purpose – to entice visitors to take a single course of action, whether that is to download a lead magnet, book a consultation, buy your course, or something else. They have been proven to convert higher than simply putting these calls to action on your website because they strip out all the information your leads don’t need to see and focus on doing one thing, converting.
CLICK FUnnELS
Clickfunnels is an online sales funnel builder that helps businesses market, sell, and deliver their products online. This tool simplifies online marketing, selling, and delivery of their products and services by providing users with funnel options that are pre-built for a specific business, product, or service.
Lead Pages
LeadPages is an online tool that you can use to collect email subscribers. That is the main function of LeadPages, and they provide tons of great templates that you can use for lead magnets, webinars, and landing pages in order to grow your email list.
Email Marketing (CRM)
Marketing Automation software allows you to engage with clients throughout the entire customer lifecycle via email on autopilot. When a visitor submits their email address, it is the marketing automation software that is used to deliver the lead magnet and nurture that relationship to convert the lead into a lifelong customer and more importantly, an ambassador of your brand.
ACTIVE CAMPAIGN
I honestly think ActiveCampaign is a hidden gem in the marketing automation world…
It’s one of the most affordable email marketing tools for small – medium businesses and their software is exceptionally well-designed.
Active Campaign has a low price point to entry and it has amazing capabilities, especially considering the price.
Unlike other marketing automation tools I’ve used that have been designed for small businesses, I’ve yet to have an idea that the software won’t allow me to build.
Infusionsoft
Infusionsoft is a private company that offers email marketing and sales platform for small – large businesses.
Infusionsoft offers quite a sophisticated platform and the entry price point is a lot higher than Active Campaign.
I do like Infusionsoft, but for small business I do feel that Active Campaign is a smart place to start.
Payment Gateway
A payment gateway facilitates a payment transaction by the transfer of information between a payment portal (such as a website, mobile phone or interactive voice response service) and the front end processor or acquiring bank.
STRipe
Stripe is a US company allowing businesses to accept payments over the Internet. It operates in 25 countries and powers 100,000+ businesses. I love Stripe because it has the lowest fees and is really easy to use.
A Stripe account is a lot like a bank account. You can create multiple Stripe accounts for your products or businesses. Each account has its own payments, dashboard, and authorized users.
PAYPAL
PayPal is an online payment service that allows individuals and businesses to transfer funds electronically.
The good thing about PayPal is that a lot of people have PayPal accounts so it’s often an easy way to make payments. On the downside the fees are higher…
Tracking & Analytics
Tracking allows you to monitor your site’s performance by seeing how your visitors interact with yours site, giving you insight into their online behaviour, and helping you to optimise your online marketing strategies.
HOTJAR
Hotjar is a suite of analytics tools that will help you gather data to show you how people are viewing your website.
This is done through heat maps. It’s also very easy to install on your website and can give you valuable information as to what is and isn’t working for the user journey….
Google Analytics
Google Analytics is a free web analytics tool offered by Google to help you analyze your website traffic.
Even though “web analytics” sounds like a very small area of your digital presence, the implications of Google Analytics are in fact huge.
This is because for most companies, your website serves as a hub for all of your digital traffic. If you are running any marketing activities such as search ads or social media ads, your users are most likely going to visit your website somewhere along their user journey.
Yoast SEO
Yoast SEO is one of the most widely popular WordPress plugins available.
Yoast is a powerful tool that can help you make your site as search engine-friendly as possible.
Yoast SEO can be installed on any self-hosted WordPress site and it’s easily the most comprehensive SEO-related WordPress plugin you could ask for and best of all, it’s free!
Yoast makes it easy for you to do things like control titles and meta descriptions, set your targeted keywords and track how often you’re using them, manage sitemaps, and so much more.
